Powerpoint+video+mac+pc

Folks,

I believe there was a lengthy discussion several months ago regarding getting video into powerpoint presentations. I'd be most greatful if someone could point me to an archive or source of info.

I am capturing video clips with audio from an SVHS camcorder, using my Sony TRV50 as a passthrough. I am capturing the clips in Final Cut Pro HD. If I import the QT movies into Powerpoint on the Mac, I believe it's PowerPoint 2003?, I can click on the icon in the presentation and play the movies.

However, if I put it into PowewrPoint 2003 on the PC, the movies will not play. How do I convert the clips from the QT clips on the Mac so that I can import them into the PC Powerpoint 2003 presentation.
