-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Assuming that the heads, tape transports, etc. of both DV cameras are in alignment, the quality of the footage shot with the 3-CCD camera will not change when played through the single chip camera. Other members of this list have had problems getting tapes shot on one type of DVCAM to play properly on other decks. The higher end Canons seem to be well known sources of problems, especially with audio sync issues... All I can say is give it a try and see. As long as the single chip camera doesn't physically damage the DV tape, you shouldn't have anything to lose. And you may save wear and tear on your more expensive 3-CCD DVCAM as a bonus!
