Yes, there is, though it's not in your budget at the moment. It looks like
HD camcorders are going to move into the consumer price segment. Sony last
month announced an HDV 1080i camera, the HDR-FX1. But it's going to be about
$4,000, so probably a couple of years until there's anything in the $2,000
price range
