[MacDV] IDVDx for dual layer DVD burning in G5

Hi all

I heard from an APPLE salesperson that the superdrive that comes with
the latest G5 machines are actually dual layer burners (it is a rumour),
although it is not disclosed/advertised by APPLE because the software to
burn dual layer DVDs has not been released (i.e IDVD or Toast for Mac).
My questions are

1.  Is it true that the superdrive within the current G5 models is
capable to burn dual DVDs.

2.  What software is currently available to export IMOVIE to IDVD and
burn in dual layer DVDs in G5

3.  If not, can we expect APPLE to release  the new G5s with dual layer
burners with software (IDVDx) in the near future i.e within the next 2-3
months.
