[MacDV] command line tools to copy dv video from firewire camcorder

Hi there-
am hoping someone here can help; I need a command line utility to
capture the clips from a firewire attached mini-dv camera directly to
a set of files in the current directory; something I could do quite
easily with the linux dvgrab(? I forget) tools.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated- I've been googling with no luck...
