[MacDV] Final Cut Pro 4.5 and camcorders compatibility?

Does anyone know where Apple has hidden the compatible devices list for 
past versions of Final Cut Pro? Or where it might be found elsewhere on 
the web?

I'm looking to replace my miniDV camcorder but want to make sure my 
ultimate choice will be compatible with Firewire and FCP 4.5. I have a 
G4 800 desktop.

I'm in the middle of my final project for my Masters degree and need to 
get something soon.
