[MacDV] PAL and NTSC footage in same FCP project

I am using my Canon GL2 from the States (NTSC) and a co-worker will be
purchasing a (PAL) DV camera here in Switzerland.  I was hoping to make use
of his camera for some 2-camera shoots.

Would there be any problem with importing NTSC and PAL footage into the same
FCP (4.1) project? 
Anything I would need to do at the import stage, etc.?
