I know it is sometimes tempting to augment or otherwise improve the Subject line of a message when replying to it. But please resist the temptation unless you are actually changing the topic. Some e-mail systems (Gmail, in my case), group messages with the same subject together, so that the threads can be read as a unit. If you change the Subject in your reply, even with the goal of making it more descriptive, your message gets split off from the other messages in the thread.
