Ah, but it gets ugly, Mark. Here's JUST what a doofus I REALLY am:
I totally got it mixed up and thought it was 786x420. I didn't want to
tell you just HOW FLAMING my Newbieness IS, (it's downright embarrassing
what I did) but now you know. Yes, my dearly esteemed Mac Genius, there are
those of us out here in cyberland who are still utterly tech-challenged and
confused in spite of our M.A. Degrees in Literature--and general smartness
elsewhere. But with your kind and thorough guidance here, this flaming
Newbie's got another leg up on her steep climb toward the Valhalla of the
Creative Mac Community.

What happened was, as is wont with us Mac types, a creative fervor
possessed me, starting me in on a passionate creative art spree lasting for
intense days and nights. It was only about after 100 pieces that I got
this nagging suspicion that I should have checked through my files to find
where I wrote those dimension "thingies". The dimensions DID did seem
WRONG. Too bad that reality check didn't strike a bit sooner in my creative
flourish. But anyway, most kind thanks to you for teaching me some very
important basic things that WILL henceforth set me on the right path.
Afraid I WILL have to really spend some hard time re-creating the works
rather than brilliantly batch process a few pixels off the images. (What a
cool thing to know. I'm looking forward to using that nugget of info many
times in the future).

Cheers from a smarter (and therefore happier) Newbie,

Lené
