[MacDV] Recording TV to Mac

Yes, as I mentioned earlier today, I sometimes record things directly
from my DirecTV receiver to iMovie. (Well, "directly" through a Canopus
A/D converter.)

I recently bought a DVD recorder, but at least in the case of my
model, the editing is not very precise, so I'll probably keep going
through the Mac first in order to edit out the commercials.
