[MacDV] New G5 dies, mac servicing, photos altered,

Another problem - after 3 years they won't extend their service
contract.
This would be okay if it were just another PC most of the parts can
be purchased or replaced easily - but with special made hardware I
sure hope my G4 doesn't fail now (almost 4 years old). I suppose I
could buy a used system and part it out.
Complaints to Apple about this went unanswered. If this is the way
they go on their Intel product line (special hardware - but no
service contract) --- I'll have to seriously consider other hardware
options.
