I agree with this. 

I have a ADVC100 and a TwinPact100 and both work as advertised on every 
Mac that I have tried them on, including my Dual 2.0 Rev. B G5. 

I would be shocked if the ADVC55 did not work as well. 

Canopus seems to be a quality company, making quality products, at 
competitive prices.
