The Boston and Connecticut Final Cut Pro User Groups, HB
Communications and Future Media Concepts invite you to
attend "Shake ‘n’ Final Cut Studio." This special event
takes place during SIGGRAPH 2006 and is yoru chance to
learn about the industry’s leading editing, motion
graphics and compositing technologies while connecting with
members in the industry.

Join our experts as they show you how to extend the
creative work you produce in Final Cut Studio with an
integrated Shake workflow. See how everyone who uses Final
Cut Studio has the power to create the most sophisticated
visual effects, without breaking the budget.

Featured Presenters:
- Dion Scoppettuolo, Shake Product Manager, will present
Shake 4.1, which is now available at a price that fits any
production budgets. Shake has been used to create the
world’s most celebrated visual effects. Join Dion as he
shows you some of the compositing techniques used in
feature films such as the LORD OF THE RINGS Trilogy, BATMAN
BEGINS, KING KONG and SUPERMAN RETURNS.

- Chris Phrommayon of Future Media Concepts will follow
with a quick overview of the new Universal version Final
Cut Studio. Chris will then demonstrate how to use Final
Cut Pro and Shake to create convincing, Hollywood-caliber
visual effects on a desktop — and on a budget.

- Jem Schofield of Button Productions will show you the
seamless integration between Motion and Shake, including
how to effectively use Particles created in Motion in your
Shake scripts.

- Todd Prives of GenArts will then demo the new major
version 2.0 update to the Sapphire Plug-Ins for Shake as
well as version 1.3 for Final Cut Pro.
