I have just had a new disc drive put into my macbook pro and I had the same problem. I ended up using iMovie and iDVD and burnt my project that way. I know it is a long winded way having to use dvdxdv first and then copy it into imovie, but it worked. I thought it might be snow leopard but I don't know. Regards Merelyn Davi
