<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; "><BR><DIV>Hello y'all!</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>iMovie and iDVD were the main reasons for buying a new PowerBook 15/1.67, since for eveything else my old T400 was chugging away just fine .... and now this!!</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>I finally had overcome the audio-synch problems by extracting the audio before sending the finished iMovie project to iDVD. But yesterday, the matter became even more vexing.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>The project was finished ... 72 min ... and I extracted the audio and saved the work. Coming back to it later, I noticed that playback had turned into a 1fps affair and the sound consisted of nothing but static ... a clicking crackling sound.</DIV><DIV>I used all possible playback settings, no avail.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Then I did a reverse and imported the iMovie file into iDVD. Same thing!</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>With a new setting in iMovie, which shows the frequency band of the sound track, I saw what seemed like regular sound files. Ergo, I copied a portion of it and placed it into a new iMovie project .... voila ... the sound was correct!!!</DIV><DIV>Whcih should mean that the data themselves are okay, which is super, since I would hate to have to go back and redo the entire project, which consisted of 4 hours of raw footage.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>But what on earth can I do now, to revive the project?
