<DIV>Hi Karl: I've had a nearly identical experience, although I'm using a G4 and a shorter project. I never had a problem until I upgraded to latest iMovie. A search of various discussions revealed that many other people have had similar problems, although the experiences are not universal (when I moved my project over to my wife's mac I was able to complete it without a problem). One of the mentioned suggestions that did provide some relief was the "Garage Band" fix. Open garage band, noodle around a bit, and then close it. Sounds like an urban myth but it's been attested to by many others. Sorry not to be able to give more help but I'm still struggling and frustrated myself. It's a shame that what was once so easy has become so difficult--I'm hoping a bug fix will come along soon.</DIV>
