[MPA] Good microphone?

I too have been looking for a good directional mic to use for live recording 
with a Sharp minidisc recorder, under $100. Suggestions?

Randy,

Believe it or not, in my pro studio,  I will use a Marshall VM63 instead of
my Neumans or ATs, and get better results. It really depends on what type of
material you are trying to record.
