You'll find the audio out from the minidisc into the audio in of the Mac to work JUST FINE. I tried to get the digital side of things working, and after getting it to work with the MOTU 828, found it didn¹t sound much different anyhow. The Mac audio in is surprisingly good, especially for a line level signal. Cheers, Nik
