[MPA] audio editor thoughts? Anyone?

I disagree, PT is great for multi-track work but for two track editing?
For what I do (game sound design and composing) nothing beats the
ancient and venerable Sound Edit 16. Which unbelievably runs in classic
mode. And no other program I've seen out there has a Bender tool like
SE16 which I use all the time for sound effects. It is the only app
that I NEED to go into OS 9 for anymore. And yes, I have PT free and
Peak VST.
I have tried the following apps in OSX:
Amadeus II
Sound Studio
Spark ME
Acoustic Core
Cacophony
Jasmine
Sound Sculptor II
DSP Quattro
I like Quattro the best, but I don't like Quattro $129 better than the
free Spark ME which is my main OSX Editor. Sound Studio from Felt Tip
software is also pretty good.
If there were no Sound Edit 16, I would buy Quattro.
Your mileage may vary, Humbly submitted.
