[MPA] Audio Interface Advice?

I wonder if you could go from your receiver into your CanopusADVZ-1000 
(I've Got one too) into ProTools

or maybe iMovie ??

You could capture audio in iMovie ,save as Quicktime and then convert 
to AIFF

You've already got an anolgue to video converter with firewire (The 
Canopus)
