I have a bunch of midi files under Opcode Studio Vision Pro that I tried to export as standard midi files to a system running os X.3. When the transfer is complete, they shop up not as midi file but Unix Executable files. I thought standard midi was standard and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Please, somebody, help. After ten years of this midi stuff, I find myself learning a new "basic" every day.
