I know NOTHING. So I'm looking for some advice. I am thinking about getting an electronic keyboard for my wife. My wife plays piano but has never used an electronic keyboard. Any suggestions. What should I look for? What questions should I ask? Any brands that are better? Any brands or models I should stay away from? What should I expect to pay? -- Richard Meyeroff Have a Happy From tonyvass347 at hotmail.com Tue Nov 27 16:37:28 2007 From: tonyvass347 at hotmail.com (Tony Vass) Date: Tue Nov 27 16:45:03 2007 Subject: [MPA] electronic keyboard In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Get a Macbook, Logic Studio and a weighted Keyboard with midi. > Date: Tue, 27 Nov 2007 08:27:06 -0500 > To: macproaudio@listserver.themacintoshguy.com > From: richard@meyeroff-c-c.com > Subject: [MPA] electronic keyboard > > I am new to this list, and I know that it is for people knowledgeable > in electronic music. My wife, however, has a Roland RD700SX, and it probably has the best action available, but it's over $2000. > > From: Richard Meyeroff > Date: 2007/11/27 Tue AM 07:27:06 CST > To: > Subject: [MPA] electronic keyboard > > I am new to this list, and I know that it is for people knowledgeable > in electronic music. We've been very happy with it ... Very good piano sounds, has some fun features such as built-in sequencer, GM-compatible features, etc. It came with a bench seat, looks nice, decent piano-style action for well under $1000 bucks now. on 11/27/07 5:27 AM, Richard Meyeroff at richard@meyeroff-c-c.com wrote: > I am new to this list, and I know that it is for people knowledgeable > in electronic music.
