I would be using my G4 iBook, running OS X 10.4.11. A cheap method is Griffin iMic http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/imic Tape deck to iMic (USB) to G4 iBook. There are plenty of applications to edit the audio before burning it to a CD. Many are free. Amadeus, Audacity are popular. Ed On Mar 17, 2008, at 11:09 PM, Vern Andrews wrote: > What would be the cheapest, easiest, and best way to record music from > our audio tapes onto CDs?
