<P>What advantages and disadvantages do you perceive in the interfaces and MIDI sequencer/audio recording and editing apps that you use? I need to get into computer-centric composition, arrangement and production soon. I have a lot of experience in the MIDI sequencing area, but only with dedicated hardware. I used Logic a couple (literally) of times on the Atari STe platform, but can't represent that as applicable experience.</P>
<P>To recap: I need information on the pluses and minuses of the various MIDI/audio interfaces (especially Firewire) and sequencer/audio apps that are on the market. If a database or comparison exists somewhere, please direct me there. If there's an archived thread available here, please excuse my ignorance and point me in the right direction.
