[MV] Dictate looses the mic and won't grab it back.

Hi,

I'm a fairly new voice user and tried iListen previously.  Now I'm  
using Dictate and rather like it.  When I'm moving from home to office  
or back I usually pull out the USB mic and close the lid on my  
computer.  Dictate complains about loosing the microphone and when I  
resume the computer (open the lid) Dictate refuses to reacquire the  
mic.  I have to shut it down and restart Dictate.

How can I avoid this?
