[MV] Will DD3 REALLY work on Mavericks?

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Nuance recently released Dragon Dictate (DD) 4. I have purchased DD 4 and installed it under Mavericks. I'm happy to say I no longer have the freezing issue that I was experiencing regularly with DD 3.0.4.

I'm a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. I have 2 computers that I use DD 3.0.4 on. The first is as follows:

Mid-2012 MacBook Pro, 2.6 GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB Crucial M4 SSD, Buddy 6G USB Pod, Sennheiser MD431 II, OS X (10.8.5), Dragon Dictate 3.0.4, 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate under Parallels 8, DNS Pro 12.5.

I have no stability problems under this configuration.

My other computer is as follows:

Late-2013 27 inch iMac, 3.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 24 GB RAM, 128 GB Apple SSD, Andra USB sound Pod, Sennheiser EW 122 G2 Wireless Microphone System, OS X (10.9.1), Dragon Dictate 3.0.4.

As you can see the second computer has plenty of everything to run DD 3.0.4. Unfortunately, DD 3.0.4 freezes when I do certain things. There is a post on the Nuance forum from an experienced user that identifies many of the situations where DD 3.0.4 freezes.

So DD 3.0.4 does not "crash" on Mavericks for me. It does however freeze way too often on Mavericks. When this happens I have to get someone to come and do a force quit for me.

I have upgraded the Mavericks computer to version 10.9.2 but I haven't retested DD to see if it still freezes. Unfortunately, I'm too reliant on DD to have a freezing problem with DD. Until Nuance fixes the incompatibility with Mavericks, I'm forced to stay on Mountain Lion.
