[Ti] firewire hd (bus powered) or case recommendation sought

I have the OWC clear plastic with round sides case that's still going strong
and i've been very happy with it. Bus power as well. I've never used the
supplied AC adapter with the unit. However, if you go this way some vendors
will sell you a US only voltage AC adapter so be careful.

I got mine from transinternational I think they are called. Don't quote me
it's been a while. Just make sure you check the voltage on the adapter.
Otherwise I'm very happy with the unit. The drive docks are a tad expensive
I think. They came out after I bought my case. One thing to be careful of
when putting the circuit board into the case on this enclosure is that you
want to tie a bit of string or wire around the small hole at the end of the
circuit board otherwise since the board rests on rubber stoppers you'll have
a devil of time removing the board from the case later if you want to swap
the drive.

Right now I have some dental floss through this whole.
