From what I understand if you revert the patch you'll get AA21 and I'm not
sure what Apple will think if they see that on your machine. I have AA17
on my 800 and I noticed that th patch authors site doesn't make AA17/AX17
available.

From what I understand his "patch" is not a patch but the complete
firmware so you'll simply upate your firmare to AX21 and if you revert the
patch by running it again you'll end up with AA21 and not AA11.

So if you try doing this upgrade and later your machine requires warranty
serice you might have a hard time explaining how AA21 got on there as I've
not seen any recent DVD firmware updates publically posted at Apples site.
