Ti 400 purchased 3/00, no problems of any sort so far including paint. 
Well the rubber bumpers disintegrated, otherwise none.  Only leaves the 
house about once every two weeks, which helps, but used for 4+ hours 
every day, often in mobile (sofa-based) situations.
