Quit from the > original application. My mistake. The "Launch as Root" command is found under the "Command" menu, not the "File" menu. Check it out, Path Finder has quite a few Commands that make it a very powerful utility as well as a Finder substitute. And it is written in Cocoa, not Carbon.
