BUT it seems that installing Safari has reset my .mac username/password fields, in the Internet Preferences panel. I could not get my iDisk logon (one of the 4 tabs in this Preference) to work. I wondered if I had forgotten my password, so I got Apple to reset my password. I chose one with 7 characters. I type in my username hutleytj, and then my new password (it has 7 characters). Then I go to the Web tab, and come back to the .mac tab, and I see that the old password (9 characters) is there. I delete all fields, and add the correct username and password carefully. Then I go to the EMAIL or WEB tab, come back to .Mac and the old password is there again ! WHERE is it coming from ? !!! I cannot access my iDisk, because it thinks I have the wrong password. Somehow, my Ti-500 thinks my 9-character password should be the current one. I have no way of changing it to the new 7-character one that Apple knows I have set. Does anyone know the file that contains the 'old' password. I could trash that, and start again? I looked (using BBEdit) at several PLIST files, but could not determine which was which! Can anyone advise?? regards, Trevor
