For me the shoes solved the problem. I wear only shoes with leather 
soles. And with leather I mean inside and outside WITHOUT any 
synthetic material in between them. I'm very picky about my shoes but 
the result is that I get shocked about 1 or 2 a month now, it used to 
be 10-15 times a day....
