In Apple Care Knowledge Base Article ID: 75363, you will find some
info. I can not play DVD on my PB G4 400, because I have dismounted my
"internal" LCD screen. It cracked when falling from my living room
table. I have connected a Samsung 15" external screen to it. I can not
install MacOS X on my old Ti-book. It is a Catch 22 situation.
Hope you will get your problem solved.
