Are you saying PC people going to macs, and deciding to go back to the 
PC?


The only thing I can add to this conversation is the following:

VPC is EXPENSIVE. Even for students.

With MS licensing for colleges, it may be $45, or even free! (depending 
on if you are a student, and what type of licensing your university 
charges)

I do like Windows Remote Desktop for Mac OSX - very helpful if you are 
running XP or terminal services on a server.
