OSX Advice

I know it's probably been covered over and over again - but I'll ask 
any way. I've decided to install OSX on my  Ti400 - I have 10.1 and 
Jaguar update disks. I actually do not want to reinitialize my disk 
or partition it. So, has anyone succsessfully installed OSX over 
9.2.2 on a single pre-existing partition and is happy with 
performance, etc, etc ....
