PowerBook and Photographers

Any professional photographers out there using a PB to download images while
travelling?  What are you using to download and browse your photos prior to
Photoshop?  iPhoto, Photoshop Elements, iView Media Pro or what?

I travel with an Olympus and have used their Camedia software and iPhoto.  But
a future trip will require thousands of photo to download and keep track of.

Any suggestions or experience?
