According to IDC, Apple's share of the U.S. consumer market jumped from 
2.2% in 2001 to 3.9% in the first three quarters of 2002.

Moreover, for the first time business analysts realize that indeed 
Apple share is as solid as BMW share: No one fears BMW will disappear 
because the For d Taurus sells more. The market share fear debunked?!
