How to tell when a key is down when sleeping

This is how I found which keys were being pressed by closing the screen on
my TiBook (since the little pads are gone -- again):

1) Launch Key Caps
2) Close the screen
3) Wait for the computer to go to sleep, then open the screen
4) Look at Key Caps

In this case, I found that a couple of keys were being pressed when the
computer screen was closed.  Working the keyboard a little bit to lower
those keys solved the "logout on wake" problem that I had been having.

Hopefully this information will help others.
