frankly, i'd go with the Palm and external keyboard idea for note 
taking or writing only uses. if i'm going to carry around something 
nearly laptop sized, it's gonna be my trusty Ti500.

i'm sure the author is exaggerating to make a point, but he needs to 
figure out the s/w enough so that he controls the computer, and not 
the other way around. (or, at least learn to turn down the volume.)
