Once again Mr. Overkamp, you are hedging your bets with the "we'll see". lol I agree that the 15" Aluminum should come out soon. I suspect by August/September. However, Apple is in no position to get too comfortable with the recent releases of the G5 tower. Keep in mind the chip was an Apple/IBM development. It would not be wise for them to rest on "first out" on this one.

And Apple knows that which is why Jobs previewed Panther. Expect to see a 17" Aluminum G5 announced around the release date of Panther no later than January 2004.

Good lord. Look at the G5 tower next to a 17" Aluminum they look genetically linked. lol Since the tower is already released expect the G5 Power Book to be the next major machine. Think of the Pixlet application for the G5 PB. The PB then becomes a satellite to the G5 tower/server. What a cool workstation design for digital film production. It's exactly where I am heading. BTW as far as new machines...I am not diminishing the next significant gen of iPod which will really rock, take pix (read pixlet, lol) and play movies. Any thoughts Woz?

If you want to know how dumb dumb is...I FINALLY see where Apple is going with all this and it is truly inspired. Good job Jobs. lol
