Eduard - thank you very much.  This was a very helpful tip for me. 
My Epson Stylus Colour 800 appears twice in my List of printers.  No 
matter how many times I used the Delete option in the Print Center, I 
could not permanently delete the old one.  Using the 
http://127.0.0.1:631/printers administration function, that you 
advised us of, has enabled me to permanently delete the old SC800 
'printer'.  Great.  Thanks.
