Steve Wozniak paused, thought it over, and spoke thusly: > > >I want to make an archival copy of the System DVD that came with my 17". I >>made a disk image then burned it to DVD (which works fine with a bootable >>CD) and it has all the data written to it but won't boot. Anybody know how >>to do this? > >Toast Titanium. Select Copy, insert your System DVD. Toast >recognizes it as a DVD. Eventually you will be prompted for a blank. >It's really easy. I'm not sure how you save a Toast image for >burning a second copy. > >Roxio Toast Titanium 5.2.1 (OS X 10.2.5). Once toast burns the 'saved' image from the inserted, copied disk, it retains the image, after the burned disk is ejected. It might even ask if you want to save? Usually i click, no, and toast quits, but before the quit, whenever there's a 'saved' image [still visible as the title, inside the toast window], i get the "Save?" prompt. This leads me to believe that one could easily click on "Burn", again and then insert a new disk, etc... ~flipper
