[Ti] Updating Canon Digital Camera Firmware

Which camera was this I've got a Powershot S50 so I'm interested in 
whether it needs updating.

How were you able to update the camera from having copied the firmware 
on the card?

My camera has a microdrive in it which I use the PCMCIA adaptor to 
transfer b/w my Tibook with.
