[Ti] pcmcia card causes crashes - any suggestions?

This has been a problem since the upgrade from 10.2.6 or maybe earlier. 
You may want to try logging out, logging back in, and then inserting 
the card. Or, restarting the computer will also allow it to work. Those 
of us with the problem, haven't been able to narrow it down to a 
specific piece of software.
