[Ti] Albook scratch

Are the albooks anodized?  I don't think they are.  I <think> its just
straight sandblasted aluminum...

Does aluminum act the same way as Stainless, that is, the protective
oxidized coating occurs whenever/wherever it is cut naturally, by the
chromium content in the stainless (this coating is in fact what you see when
you pick up any piece of Stainless)?

Just an architect, not a metallurgy expert...any out there?
