Here is a shorter version of the fix from another list:

Do you have 10.3.2 installed?  If you do run this command, restart 
twice and it should be much faster:

sudo cp -p 
/System/Library/Extensions/BootCache.kext/Contents/Resources/
BootCacheControl  /usr/sbin/

Haven't tried this myself though.
