wget used to be in OS X; I think it was replaced with curl in 10.2 or 
so...  So go ahead and try curl; I don't think it has a recursive mode, 
but you can do things like www.thisisurlnumber{one,two,three}.com or 
www.thisisurlnumber[1-100].com.

Otherwise, if you're going to download something, you might as well 
download something with a pretty GUI.  ;-)
