most people who argue Cubase vs Logic...  are either ignorant of the 
other platform, or are egotistical 'pros'...

Without specifically 'bashing' Logic...  Cubase is FULL featured and is 
simpler to learn...

ProTools (free/lite) sounds like a great choice for a newbie- even 
though i prefer SX...
