OS X 10.2.2 Slow Down?? Also in 10.3.4?

Which drivers are you referring to specifically?  I have also noticed a 
significant slowdown after installing 10.3.4 on my "original" 
non-flaking, screen marring, hinge cracking 500mhz tibook.
