I thought the sonys at the SonyStyle Store had pretty good screens, and a
(much) higher resolution.  Don't know about dells though.  Most PC laptops
look brighter, but that might just be a higher default contrast setting.
Brighter is better (you can always turn it lower for the battery).

I would love it if apple provided powerbook buyers with a choice of screen
resolution.
